For anyone who wants to make music · Free

Make a track.
No DAW.

Stack blocks, press play, hear it immediately. No timeline to learn, no plugins to install, no account to make — and every sound is generated on your Mac, so it works with the Wi-Fi off.

01 · What it does

A track is a stack of blocks — not a wall of knobs.

Most music software asks you to learn it before you can make anything. BeGrooving asks you to stack a source, add an effect, and press play.

Blocks

Sources, effects, modifiers, rhythm

Start with a note, a sample, a frequency, or a scale. Stack effects and modifiers on top. Each block does one thing and says what it does.

Tracks

Mute, solo, gain, pan

Layer up to eight tracks, mute and solo them while it plays, and set gain and pan per track. Edits apply live — no stop-and-restart.

Recipes

Start from something that already works

Load a ready-made arrangement and take it apart. Learning what a track is made of beats staring at an empty timeline.

Sound Vault

Record your own sounds in

Record straight into the app and play your own clips as blocks alongside the built-in kit. They stay on your Mac.

02 · How it works

Three steps to a loop you actually like.

Not a tutorial you have to finish first. This is the whole loop.

Step 01

Stack a source

Drop in a Note, Sample, Frequency, or Scale block. That is a sound. You have a track.

Step 02

Shape it

Add effects and modifiers, set the pattern, change the tempo. Everything updates while it plays.

Step 03

Export it

Write the result to a WAV file and take it anywhere. Free — a track you cannot get out is not a track.

03 · Runs on your machine

Turn the Wi-Fi off. It still works.

Not a marketing line — a design constraint. Every drum sound ships inside the app, generated from code rather than downloaded, and the synths are computed live on your Mac. There is nothing to fetch and nowhere to send anything.

No account, ever

No sign-up, no login, no profile. Open the app and make something.

Your work stays yours

Projects and recordings are saved on your Mac. Nothing is uploaded, so nothing can be mined, throttled, or lost with someone else's service.

Works on a plane

The whole instrument is on disk. No streaming sample library, no cloud render, no waiting room.

Nothing to install alongside it

No plugin format, no sample pack, no runtime. One notarized app, roughly nine megabytes.

04 · Free and Pro

Free is the whole instrument. Pro comes later.

Making a track and exporting it are free, and will stay free. Pro adds room and range on top — it is not yet on sale, and the app says so plainly instead of showing you a button that does not work.

06 · The system behind this

BeGrooving is one app, built to solve one recurring problem: wanting to make something and being asked to learn a whole studio first. It comes from the same method taught 1:1, session by session: Plan · Work · Adjust. If you're not just looking for a tool, but for the reality where you build things like this yourself —
